Shipping Policy

Delivery costs

Delivery is free of charge on orders over £250.00 in value.  For orders less than £250.00 (excluding VAT) in value a one off delivery charge of £20.00 applies.  With two exceptions that affect certain products only, details below: 

• Standard item class – Applies to all products with two exceptions below.  £20 applies, free delivery on orders £250+ (ex-VAT)
• Small item class – Vikan production tools & hygiene equipment – £12.00 applies, free delivery on orders £250+ (ex-VAT)
• Bulky items class– Rigid pallet boxes & 4 wheeled wheelie bins – £49.00 applies, free delivery on orders £500+ (ex-VAT)
• If a combination of product class’s are ordered, the higher shipping charge will apply
• Any small or bulky items will be specified on product page

These charges apply to UK mainland only and excludes Scottish Highlands.  For deliveries to Northern Ireland, offshore Isles and Scottish Highlands an additional delivery surcharge may apply, calculated based on size of the order.  You can contact us to discuss in advance or submit your order using the purchase order function at checkout which allows you to place your order without making payment.  We will then send a proforma invoice including delivery charge.  If you do pay for your order using paypal or credit card and a delivery surcharge is required we will get in touch to arrange this before we ship the order.   Postcode regions affected  – AB, BT, HS1 to HS9, FK17 to 21, GY, IV, IM, JE, KA27 & KA28, KW, PA20 to 78, PH15 to 99,  PO30 to 41, TR21 to 25, ZE

What are the delivery times?

We endeavour to ship your order within the quickest time frame possible. Lead time varies depending on order size and mix of products ordered.  Typically all orders are completed within 10 working days, usually sooner.   When you place your order you will receive confirmation of estimated delivery time and we will keep you informed should anything change until your goods arrive.

I need it yesterday……

Yeah, we are going to struggle with that but understand that sometimes getting your order onsite is business critical and are always willing to try to meet even the tightest of deadlines.  Tell us what you need and when you need it, we will do our best to help.  Along with our standard couriers we also have a network of same day couriers at our disposal, quoted on application.  Ultimately communication is key, we will always give an honest time frame that you can be relied on.
