Description
Used widely within the automotive sector for many years, towable solutions are now becoming common place within distribution operations due to their ability to improve productivity.
This SLC kitting or picking trolley as they are also referred can be used individually by an operator or linked together to form a train using the attached drawbar and hitch.
By linking together the trolleys allow multiple products to be transported in one go, reducing the number of trips required.
Many sites have now implemented fork lift free zones due to concerns around operator safety, these trolleys allow product to be taking to the line by combining with a tow tractor, AGV or mastermover thus eliminating the need for fork lifts on the shop floor.
The unique virtual towing design, allows towing even in small/tight areas with each trolley following the other without snaking or the need to swing out wide. This means you can tow 4, 5 or even more at one time.
This trolley comes complete with 4 levels, 3 x shelves and a base which are 600mm in depth, the shelves can be adjusted to the preferred height using an allen key, or why not upgrade to quick release shelves which can be adjusted without any tools.
The hole pattern within the frame allows multiple shelf heights to be selected.
For operations requiring the trolleys to be lifted at height, this can be completed safely due to the integrated fork lift pockets in the base.
Accidents often occur when operators move other trolleys by their frames, resulting in trapped or crushed hands, this kitting trolley however has an integrated handle which can be lifted and also includes a hand brake linked to the castors.
For further safety enhancement, each trolley is fitted with a central footbrake to prevent the trolley from rolling or moving when not in use.
