Description
This mobile bin is well used across food service, primarily put to use as a mobile chip bin or potato tub for soaking of chips prior to cooking. You may know it as a chip barrel, this unit features 4 strong castors which are attached to inserts moulded into the underside of the tank. This ensures that the chip tank is completely water tight, that is aside from the drainage hole plugged with a rubber bung. The tank can then be used to soak chips or potato’s and easily emptied afterwards.  These large chip bins can hold around 75kg of chips. We advise not filling these units more than 60% with water, to avoid overloading them and ensuring long life cycle.
