UN 4H2 certified, this robust pallet box comes complete with 16 x bags of AkkuGrain.
AkkuGrain is a patented, non-combustible material which is used to support the storage and transportation of lithium-ion batteries.
It is designed to prevent and contain explosions, fires, and heat and suitable for the transport of batteries up to 19Kwh.
The internal volume must be filled at least at 80% (batteries and AkkuGrain)*
*AkkuGrain packs require replacement after a fire.
The surge in demand for electric vehicles (EV’s) has driven a requirement for more lithium-ion batteries to be manufactured than ever before.
Electronic devices have also contributed to this rise and the need to transport batteries safely is paramount to prevent fire’s.
Our battery transport boxes carry UN certification 4H2 and comply with special regulations according to ADR SV230, SV310, SV376, SV377 and packing instructions P903, P908, P909 and P910.
