Description
This battery safe has been designed for use in domestic and commercial environments for the safe storage and charging of Lithium-Ion batteries. Rechargeable batteries present many risks including thermal runaway caused by a rise in temperature, impact damage or faulty manufacture. This can result in the battery igniting and causing a fire explosion that can be extremely difficult to extinguish and cause major damage to life and buildings.
Suitable FOR – The storage and charging of the following battery types – power tools, garden tools, e-bikes/scooters, drones, laptop, mobile phone, plus your standard household rechargeable batteries AAA, AA, Type C, Type D, 9V.
FIRE PROTECTION – Tested to Swedish NT Fire 017-90 Paper.
DROP TEST – Fire and impact tested from 9.1 metres for resistance to the impact of falling through the burning floors of a building.
CONSTRUCTION – Double wall construction with internal fill of Styronite F insulation, provide a cabinet of great strength and fire/heat resistance.
CHARGING – Safely charge your Lithium batteries using the fitted power points.
FIXING – Ready prepared for floor fixing, with fixing bolts for concrete floors supplied.
FEATURES – All models are supplied with four internal key hooks, a pull-out drawer and heigh adjustable shelves.
COLOUR – Finished in a high-quality scratch resistant white paint RAL9003.
