Shadow boards are an essential tool to any business looking to organise products in a clear and efficient way, helping to improve productivity and workplace safety.

Each tool has a designated spot, outlined by a shadow which is custom made to each individual product, making it easy to identify when a product is missing from its location.

Shadowboard also support lean manufacturing principles and 5S (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardise and Sustain).

Alongside our bespoke wall mounted designs we can also offer either powder coated mobile or static frames which are ideal for warehouses or manufacturing operations looking for a non wall hung solution. The frames can be produced in custom colours to match your area or branding.

For those working within food production we also offer stainless steel stand options.

Where do I start?  Drop us a call or email and we will talk through your requirement, either remotely or via a site visit.  We will run through the required design and different methods of hanging the boards including wall fix, magnet fixing and free standing options.  We will then provide drawings and quotes for your required boards.  If you decide to go ahead full proofs of your boards will be provided for final checks and approval before we manufacture.  Giving you control and full visibility of the boards throughout the order process.  Once approved boards are manufactured and delivered to site.

Design –  All shadow boards are custom designs, to house the equipment you want to use.   As well as the equipment silhouettes we can also include any further graphics you might want.  For example text such as slogan or instruction or company  logo.

Material – Boards are manufactured from aluminium composite sheet, complete with printed vinyl design.

Stands/Mobile solutions – We can offer bespoke powder coated or stainless steel frames for those who are not looking for a wall mounted solution.  We offer static or mobile designs,  our powder coated steel options can be produced in custom colours to enhance your branding or to support with warehouse area segregation.

Hooks and fixings – We supply the boards complete with suitable stainless steel hooks and fixings to hang the equipment being stored.

Mounting options – Depending on the environment boards are being used we offer different fixing / mounting methods to choose from.  Boards can be fixed straight to the wall either directly or with spacers which provide a gap between the board and the wall for cleaning.  For sites with coated steel wall panels, we offer magnetic fixing options which avoids need to drill holes and damage walls.  It also means that boards can be simply moved for cleaning.  For areas where wall space is limited we offer free standing and mobile options, where boards are fitted to a stainless steel frame.

Equipment – Our shadow boards are designed are the Vikan range of hygiene equipment, with shadows to match all the products in this range. Boards can be supplied with or without equipment.
